The armed forces of Azerbaijan fired at the village of Areni, Armenia in the evening of September 15. The enemy’s emplacements were suppressed with counteraction, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Sputnik Armenia.
“The situation is similar to what happened in Tavush, the shooting was less intensive. They fired from rifles but unlike Tavush the bullets did not reach the village,” Hovhannisyan said.
